Ordinary families generally use anti-theft door locks, which are highly secure and relatively cheap. Door locks are divided into mechanical locks and electronic smart locks. Mechanical locks are further divided into split locks and conjoined locks. There are many product materials, including zinc alloy, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum alloy. In terms of style, there are three types of indoor door locks: European, Chinese, and modern simplicity. In order to match various styles of furniture, the shapes and colors of the handles are even more varied and colorful. There are some differences between mechanical locks and electronic smart locks in terms of functions, usage, and features. Let me explain it to you in detail:
Mechanical locks:
Drive mode: Unlocking and locking are achieved through physical-mechanical structures, which usually require manual operation.
No power supply required: It does not rely on electricity, so no battery or power supply is required.
Applicable scenarios: It is suitable for some specific scenarios, such as warehouse doors, underground mechanisms, etc., as well as environments that do not require electronic products.
Safety: Security mainly depends on its structure and materials, but it does not have the advanced functions of electronic locks.
Electronic smart locks:
Drive mode: The lock tongue is recovered by the motor, and a variety of unlocking methods can be used, such as face recognition, fingerprint, temporary password, and mobile phone remote unlocking.
Convenience: It is more convenient, and can be unlocked remotely, locked at a fixed time, etc., which is suitable for scenes such as home and office.
Safety: It has active defense functions, such as smart cat eyes, remote alarms, etc., which improve security.
Password reset: Reset is relatively simple, but it may not be applicable for situations with more family members.
1. Split lock
(1) Open the lock body hole and the connecting pipe through hole on the door leaf, and open the buckle plate buckle box hole on the door frame.
(2) Install the lock body into the door leaf and fix it with the lock body screws; embed the plastic buckle box and stainless steel buckle plate into the door frame in turn and fix them with the lock body screws.
(3) Fix the connecting pipe to the lining with the matching short screws, and fix the four linings to the door leaf with the matching connecting pipe long screws. (Or fix them to the door leaf with small self-tapping screws)
(4) Insert the square bar into a handle ring, align the groove of the square bar with the handle top screw hole, and fix one side of the square bar to the handle with the handle top screw.
(5) Insert the handle ring with the fixed square bar into the square center hole of the lock body, cover the lining, insert the other side of the handle ring into the other end of the square bar, cover the lining, tighten the handle top screw, and tighten the handle ring neck screw.
(6) Cover the two lower liners with two gourd hole rings, pass the lock core through the gourd ring, lock body, and gourd ring from the room in turn, and fix the lock core screws and tighten the two gourd ring neck wires. (Make sure the two are linked and there is no gap)
2. One-piece lock
(1) Install this after the door and door frame have been painted and dried
(2) Drill holes in the door according to the product size
(3) Adjust the direction of the lock body tongue according to the door opening direction, and install the lock body on the door
(4) Insert the handle into the panel, adjust the matching gap, determine the direction of the handle rotation according to the door opening direction, install the inner and outer panels on the door, and tighten them with the panel connection screws (M4X40).
(5) Install the lock head and tighten it with the lock head screws (M5X50).
(6) Drill holes in the door frame according to the height of the lock body, and install the lock box and lock plate.
(7) Do not use any corrosive solvents for cleaning. It is advisable to gently wipe with a dry or wet soft cloth to maintain a permanent gloss.
3. Electronic smart lock
(1) Connect the lock body hooks to the top and bottom rods on the stainless steel door, and then fix the lock body to the door panel with screws.
(2) First screw the two fixing columns to the front panel, connect the power cord, insert the square shaft, and pass the fixing screws through the positioning spring to lock the front panel, align the screws and tighten the rear panel fixing block.
(3) Connect the rear panel, insert the square shaft and fix the rear panel with the fixing screws, tighten the fixing screws, and cover the battery cover.
(4) Install the door strike box on the door frame, install the door strike plate, fix it with screws, and finally check whether the lock body moves smoothly. For wooden doors, use the special door strike plate for wooden doors and fix it with self-tapping screws. For stainless steel doors, use the special door strike plate for stainless steel doors and fix it with metric screws.
